The AJKA's Camp Shotokan finished on August 15th, 2010. Karateka from around the world participated, including Germany, Hungary, Australia, USA and Canada. Sensei Hanratty instructed again this year; Julie Hanratty (1st Dan) and Gary O'Connor (2nd Dan) from the CSKA Honbu club attended the camp. Four days of training with world-class instructors were capped off by a great tournament!
If you haven't been to the Carlsbad camp, it's an intense four days of training but in between you can visit the beach or explore the town. Many great restaurants and shops to explore and everyone has a great time. Consider coming out next year... in the meantime, check out this year's photos on Facebook.
